Toyota's youth job programs

godwill create jobs
nau athletics The Findlay Auto Group employees many Flagstaff residents and helps our local economy. The Findlay Auto Group created a partnership with Goodwill jobs connection and helps employee teenagers so they can build resume and get ready for the new world. Having teenagers build communication skills, learn discipline and build their resume are key for the new work force that is constantly evolving. We take kids ages 14-19 and give them part time hours so they can learn how the real work force works. Not just pulling weeds or working for a relative. Having a job history is an ever growing trait among the young workforce. As we all know having a job with no safety net is what shocks us into the real world. From having co-workers we don’t always agree with. Having a boss or even sometimes you being the person in charge. We are giving the kids a chance to build real world work ethics early on at our dealership, so they can become a stronger person later on in college and in the US work force. Goodwill takes all the applications from hundreds of teenagers and chooses a handful of youthful applicants. Goodwill then proceeds to assign them to companies who they selected partnerships with, Findlay Auto Group being one of them. They work part time here and help build their resume while getting a check. Another thing Findlay Toyota does is employee NAU athletic students during the summer. We take NAU college students and give them a chance to earn extra money with an ever growing tuition increase. We support NAU not just with donations, our support by showing up to games but also by helping the student themselves. This summer we have students from the football program and the basketball program. We get a chance to see the youth evolve and rise to the responsibilities that are put in place here at the dealership. I believe it’s important we keep a smart workforce and instill great work ethics early on. They are the future of our great nation and we will help them to better themselves.
