Relying Less on Fossil Fuels

Mirai Fuel Cell We are seeing a new step of technology this day and age. We are seeing humanity rely less and less on fossil fuels. We are entering a new chapter for humanity. The evolution of vehicles has come a long way since the beginning. When Toyota first started making vehicles back in 1937 they were just a small factory dwarf by the big automotive companies at the time. When Kiichiro Toyoda first started Toyota automotive he had a dream to build a lost cost quality built vehicle. Toyoda believed in tactics like ‘Just in Time’ which we still use to this day. Over the decades Toyota grew from a small automotive shop who struggled during World War II on the brink of bankruptcy to the number one seller of vehicles world wide. The evolutions of the automotive industry have been drastic over the past few decades. We have designed and implemented ABS braking system, Air Conditioning, Seat belts, electric power steering, Variable Value Timing and many more features since the birth of the automotive vehicle. We have come a long way since the 1920’s and we will continue to evolve the automobile. Of recent years Toyota has come out with the Prius, the pinnacle of Hybrid Technology. Followed by the all-electric Rav4 and soon the Mirai. The Mirai is Toyota’s newest edition which will change automobiles forever. We are on the verge of new technology and we get to see this new technology come to life. This new technology is the Mirai Hydrogen Fuel Cell. The Mirai Fuel Cell vehicle runs on hydrogen and its only bi-product is Water. Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and for the entire month of October the Flagstaff Findlay Automotive Group will be raising money for the Well Woman Healthcheck Program through North Country Healthcare. We will donate $25 for every vehicle purchased, and $1 will be donated for every repair order created. These much needed funds will go towards helping low income, under-insured and uninsurable women to gain access to prevention screening and diagnostic services for br east cancer. With your help, we were able help over 1,000 women in our community in 2015. Everyone has been affected by cancer, either through your own personal fight or through someone you love.
